The KmerHosting Affiliate Program gives each eligible customer a personal referral code and link from Dash → Billing → Affiliate program.

How referrals work

Your link uses this format:
When a new customer registers through that link, KmerHosting records the first valid affiliate attribution. Self-referrals are rejected, and an account that is already attributed is not reassigned to another affiliate. Referral attribution is preserved through both email/password registration and supported OAuth registration flows.

$2 welcome credit for referred customers

A new customer who registers through a valid referral link receives $2.00 in KmerHosting Central Account credit after their first eligible paid service purchase. The $2 reward is **not a discount on the first order**. The customer pays the normal purchase price first. After the eligible payment is recorded, KmerHosting adds the $2 welcome credit to the customer’s account balance automatically. The welcome credit is granted only once per referred customer. The referral must be attached before the customer’s first eligible paid service purchase. Account-credit top-ups do not qualify as the first purchase, free services do not create a paid-purchase reward, and self-referrals are rejected. The credit can then be used anywhere the KmerHosting Central Account balance is accepted.

Commission

The current default commission is 10% of eligible paid service receipts. The affiliate commission and the referred customer’s $2 welcome credit are separate benefits. Commissions are not created for account-credit top-ups because a top-up is money movement rather than service revenue. Refunded, reversed, or otherwise ineligible transactions do not qualify. Each commission starts as Pending and has a 30-day validation period. Once that period has elapsed, an eligible pending commission becomes Approved. A separate audited settlement flow is required before an approved commission is marked Paid; approval does not silently add money to account credit.

Dash

The Affiliate program view shows:
  • your referral code and copyable referral link;
  • the $2 welcome-credit benefit offered to customers who register with your link;
  • total attributed referrals;
  • total commissions earned;
  • pending, approved, and paid amounts;
  • commission date, product, eligible sale amount, commission amount, and status.
All monetary values are tracked in USD using the same high-precision ledger conventions as the central KmerHosting billing system.

Monthly email summary

On the first day of each month, KmerHosting sends active affiliates an email summary for the previous calendar month. The message includes:
  • new referrals;
  • commissions earned;
  • approved amount;
  • pending amount;
  • the affiliate’s referral link.
The monthly email is a summary. The Customer Dash remains the account-level source for current affiliate activity and status.

Status lifecycle

KmerHosting may suspend an affiliate account or reverse ineligible commissions where fraud, self-referral, abuse, duplicate attribution, or an invalid underlying transaction is identified.
